Accreditation


    Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael of Atlanta is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC). 
    The GAC was established in 1904 and is one of the oldest accrediting agencies in the country. Hundreds of private and public schools in Georgia are accredited through the GAC.

     A Day of Appreciation

    Rabbi Ilan Feldman, Rav of Congregation Beth Jacob, spoke to the Yeshiva on Yom Ha'atzmaut. Rabbi Feldman explained the significance of the day and the importance of appreciating the gift of Eretz Yisrael.

    Members of YOY's National Honor Society spent many hours over the past several weeks sorting and transporting food donations 
    for Yad L'Yad. The Yeshiva received very positive feedback from Mrs. Laura 
    Bogart, who coordinated the project. "I believe this was a wonderful learning experience for the students and look forward to YOY student assistance on future Yad L'Yad projects..."
