With the advent of warm Atlanta weather, students are enjoying our spacious campus. There is an air of excitement as we near Shavuos and also approach the tenth folio of Meseches Kiddushin. Baseball season has brought a renewed sense of unity as the Yeshiva supports its team.

The YOY Baseball season has begun. Coach David Schoen has fielded an excellent team made up of
Ohr Yisrael students from all grades. The practice
and game schedule was especially designed not to conflict with any learning time.
Best of luck this season!

Torah Umesorah Convention

TU convention

Torah Umesorah is a national organization that supports orthodox day school and yeshiva education. Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael has benefited from their consultants and support.

This  week is the national convention at which close to 1500 Jewish educators join to share ideas and get chizuk.

Three of the Yeshiva's rebbeim will be in attendance to network, recruit and bring back new ideas for our students.

Faculty Dialogue

Rabbi E and Rabbi G

This year the Yeshiva has followed a specific Gemara curriculum which aimed at keeping all the shiurim at
the same pace. This initiative had many
benefits; one of which was the that it
enabled more faculty dialogue about the texts.
