    Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael of Atlanta is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC). 
    The GAC was established in 1904 and is one of the oldest accrediting agencies in the country. Hundreds of private and public schools in Georgia are accredited through the GAC.

    Dr. Mark Yates did not have 

    to look very far for an 

    expert on the human 

    body's lymphatic system. 

    Upon completion of the 

    lymphatic unit in Anatomy class, 

    the 12th Grade was addressed 

    by our very own Dr. Richard 

    Haaland, a microbiologist at the CDC. Dr. Haaland spoke about HIV and its impact on the immune system.

    Rabbi Mendel Blachman of Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh visited Yeshiva

    this past week to interview potential students for next year.
