Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael of Atlanta is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC). 
The GAC was established in 1904 and is one of the oldest accrediting agencies in the country. Hundreds of private and public schools in Georgia are accredited through the GAC.

Chesed is an essential pillar of Jewish life and takes a primary role in the chinuch at Ohr Yisrael. The Yeshiva runs a number of weekly community service programs.
