Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael of Atlanta is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC). The GAC was established in 1904 and is one of the oldest accrediting agencies in the country. Hundreds of private and public schools in Georgia are accredited through the GAC.

Chavrusa Learning

chavrusa learningLearning is of utmost important to the yeshiva. We have set up chavrusa-'partner' learning between the boys so that they can help each other develop their skills and learn one-on-one.

In addition to the boys learning together, we have developed a program for younger boys in elementary and middle school to come and learn with a chavrusa. This allows the boys to develop a relationship with and give to the younger boys in the community.

The end of the year Shabbaton was a smashing success! The boys bonded in the wilderness accompanied by singing, activities, dvrei torah, and lots more!
